Come talk to us before you graduate. Knowing where your chair is going to be takes a lot of pressure off the last few months of hours.

The straight answers

What you’ll want to know before you call.

Nobody should have to sit through a whole interview to find out the basics. Here they are.

What you need
A current Oregon barber certificate and an Oregon independent-contractor registration. If you’ve only ever worked hourly, ask Naldo how the paperwork works when he calls. Licensed in another state, or finishing school right now? Message us before you graduate and tell us where you’re at.
How you’d get paid
Booth rent: $125 a week or $500 a month. No split — you set your prices, you keep what you charge, and your tips are yours. The station, chair, mirror, ring light, capes, towels and laundry are included, and your Booksy page is set up for you; you bring your tools and your product. No book yet? Your first month is free, your second is half rent, and you’re at full rent from month three. Coming in with clients? Rent starts day one. In a good week, Naldo says, a barber here takes home somewhere between $600 and $1,200, depending on the book. That’s his estimate, not a promise.
Your hours
You’re a booth renter, so your schedule is yours — you set your own availability on Booksy. The barbers who fill their book fastest are the ones in the shop most days.
Your clients
Yours. You keep your Booksy profile, your prices and your regulars. If you ever leave, they leave with you.
What we’re not
We’re not a chain, and we’re not a chop shop. There are 7 people here who care what the fade looks like when you turn the chair around. If that’s not you, this won’t be a good fit and we’ll both know quickly.
How fast this moves
Apply, and Naldo — the owner — calls you himself, within a couple of days. If it sounds right, come by the shop, meet the crew and see the room. One owner, one call. Nobody else has to approve you.
